Project overview

I rebuilt Southwark Council's component library from the ground up, applying GOV.UK design principles to create accessible, logically structured experiences for council communities.

SEND website redesign

Alongside the design system work, I redesigned the information architecture and user journeys for the new SEND website — bringing together the new components, existing user research, and direct experience from a previous engagement at Camden Council, where I had developed a research-led strategy and redesign for their SEND service.

Creating scalable design system for other campaign sites

The components were designed to be scalable and adaptable across a range of campaign sites — from Southwark SEND, supporting families of children with special educational needs, to Southwark Presents, the council's local entertainment and events platform.
